Office-Level Industrial Door Awareness Training

Practical industrial-door awareness for the people who support customers and engineers every day.

Duration Half day 10:00 to 14:30
Location Stockport Dedicated engineering training facility
Format Practical demonstrations

Confidence comes from familiarity

This course has been developed for office-based, administrative and customer-facing colleagues who support industrial door installations, servicing and breakdown enquiries but do not install or repair doors themselves.

Delivered at our dedicated engineering training facility by our experienced training team, who have over 40 years in the door industry. The course uses live sectional industrial doors, including standard, low head room, high-lift and vertical-lift systems, along with GfA motors to provide practical insight into how industrial doors operate. It also mentioned

The course also introduces other common industrial door types, including roller shutters and high speed doors, to provide a broader understanding of the different systems encountered across the industry.

Attendees gain a better understanding of the products and systems they support every day, helping them communicate more confidently with customers and engineers without being taught how to diagnose or repair faults.

Practical awareness, not installer training

This is not an installation or engineering course. Delegates are not taught fault-finding, diagnostics or repairs. The focus is useful context, better questions and knowing when to involve an engineer.
