Day 1: 08:30 Start
Meet and greet at Indupart Stockport.
Introduction - Welcome to Indupart (Introduction by Indupart's Training Manager, Jeff Booth) including the history of Indupart and what Indupart can do for you.
Sectional Overhead Door Repair and Fault Finding
Any problems that the fitter may have encountered on site can be replicated in the training room to show the ideal way to overcome them.
Replace old cables on door; remove measure and make up new cables and refit to door and check door operation.
Remove damaged bottom and intermediate panels, measure and make up new panels, refit to door and check door operation.
Remove broken spring and replace with new spring.
Common problems with springs explained.
Fit electric motor and set limits. Questions are welcome during this hands-on demonstration as site problems are common, but are easily resolved once you know what to do.
Correct way to work out high lift drum cable lengths. This is a key session, since incorrect fitting can cause many problems and is very dangerous.
Day 2: 08:30 Start
Meet at Indupart Stockport.
Summary and re-cap of first day's material.
Roller Shutter / Fire Roller Shutter - Repair and Fault Finding
Safety explained - what to look for on roller door repairs.
How to reverse curtain coil - an outline of the problems that result if not done correctly.
Measure damaged lath in top of curtain. Remove and make up new lath and refit.
Add and remove tension on chain-operated door.
